As Washington’s 22nd governor, Chris Gregoire has delivered real results to the people of Washington. Combining effective leadership with a tireless work ethic, she has shown time and again that she has the courage and independence to stand up and fight for individuals and families. Under her leadership, we are building a better future for Washington families.

Governor Gregoire’s hard work in Olympia is an extension of her lifetime of service to the people of Washington. In this election season we are excited and proud to have her as our guest at Endfest'08.

the Washington Bus

Washington Bus mission statement
The Washington Bus is mobilizing and energizing a political movement of young people across the state. The Bus is an innovative vehicle for hands-on democracy. It’s the place young people can assert their political power while having a good time.

What does the Bus do?
Getting young people engaged in the political process is crucial. The Millenial Generation – those born between 1979 and 1994 – is the largest generation in the history of the USA. It’s bigger than the baby boom, and three times bigger than Generation X. By 2015, Millenials will make up one third of the national electorate.

The Washington Bus builds young voters by registering young people, builds leaders by including leadership development into all Bus programs, and drives change by helping get young leaders elected into office.

The Washington Bus: of young people, by young people, for all people.

The Young Democrats of Washington

The Young Democrats of Washington is a political group with only two membership requirements—that you be under 36 years old and declare yourself to be a Democrat. The Young Democrats of Washington is focused on a few key objectives: issues and policy, community and public service, campaign work, training activists, and involvement in all levels of the Democratic party. We are committed to promoting Democratic Values and ensuring young voters have a voice and access to the political process.

The mission of the Young Democrats of Washington is to stimulate in young people an active interest in governmental affairs and promote their involvement in the political process, to promote the acquisition of political power by young people, and to foster and perpetuate the ideals and principles of the highest degrees of justice and social welfare.
